George M. Ottinger papers

Scope and Contents Collection consists of an artist notebook and art journal, scrapbook, along with various loose papers. Ottinger's art journal is full of hand written instructions on colors he mixed to achieve multiple shades used for many of his paintings. Dewey Owens collection on Carlos Salzedo

Scope and Contents These materials were organized by Dewey Owens for a biography he wrote on Carlos Salzedo, the world renowned harpist who lived from 1885 to 1961. Maxfield Parrish letter

Scope and Contents Collection includes an original signed letter and photocopies. The letter was written 14 March 1944, and addressed to Mr. Shelby Holladay of Salt Lake City, Utah. Letter is neatly signed on Parrish's letterhead and postmarked Windsor, Vermont. Parrish briefly describes work that he has done since 1898 and offers suggestions as to how Holladay may acquire reproductions of his work.
