Scope and Contents This collection includes a variety of materials pertaining to music and primarily, the harp. The materials include manuscripts, periodicals, concert programs, and a letter from Lyon and Healy. The manuscripts include both handwritten copies of published pieces and arrangements of popular songs for the harp. The periodicals include complete issues and clippings of individual articles. Francis M. Wyndham papers

Scope and Contents

Handwritten and typewritten correspondence, a biography, newspaper clippings, and galley proofs of an article. The materials relate to Wyndham's study of Joan of Arc and to her beatification. Also contains "The Marvellous History of Joan of Arc" (typewritten with handwritten corrections, twenty pages long), and "Sermon on the Blessed Joan of Arc preached in the Cathedral at Rouen 8 May 1910" in French. Collection includes 22 items.

Scope and Contents Two articles and two letters. The items relate to an article published in the "Utah Historical Quarterly" in the Spring of 1974 by P. T. Reilly entitled "Kanab United Order: The President's Nephew and the Bishop." Young contends that the article was defamatory to his great-great uncle, John R. Young. Most letters were exchanged with family members and close friends. Primary correspondents included his son, Mahonri Sharp Young; his first wife, Cecilia Sharp Young; and Mary Lightfoot Tarleton, whom he met in Paris after Cecilia died in 1917. Research files include extensive information on other artists.
