Scope and Contents Typewritten, signed draft of the article "The Country Editor" as submitted by White to "Harper's" magazine. Also included is the printed article in the magazine. The draft has editorial changes made in White's own hand. The article is about life in small towns in America and the impact the newspaper editor there has on the communiaty.

Richard Halliburton letter

Scope and Contents Handwritten letter sent to the newspaper offices that printed a column known as "The Office Window." The letter is dated March 22, 1928 and was written in Indianapolis, Indiana. Also included is a photocopy of the newspaper article dated Feb. 25, 1928. The news piece was somewhat critical of Halliburton and his adventures. Halliburton wrote to thank the editors for the publicity and to correct the things said about him.

Scope and Contents Typewritten draft of a biographical sketch written for the Utah State Historical Society of a Mormon pioneer, missionary, author-journalist and assistant Latter-day Saint Church historian. It describes (mainly through excerpts from his autobiography) his activities in those capacities, as well as his emigration from Denmark to Utah and family data. Also included are two articles by Newell Knight and an article from the Salt Lake City Historian's Office pertaining to "Washington Square."
