David Hinshaw letters

Scope and Contents
Three typewritten letters. Two were signed by Hinshaw with "David." They related to the publication of poems by Arthur Guiterman (1871-1943), to the present political situation of the United States, and to personal matters. Two are on "Washington" journal stationary, are addressed to "Maurice," and are dated Nov. 7 and 14, 1930. The remaining item is neither addressed, dated, nor signed and is not on "Washington" stationary but deals with similar matters of the other two.

Mary Jameson Judah letters received

Scope and Contents
Handwritten letters to Judah from her spouse John, Henry B. Fuller, and Blanche Bates. Her husband's letters date from 1879-1880 while he was in the Rocky Mountains investigating mining investments, and discuss personal and business matters. The Fuller letters detail his future writing plans. The Blake Letter describes a theater production in Chicago. Also included are a certificate for five shares of Arena Publishing Company stock owned by Mary Judah and a death announcement for Lew Wallace.
