The materials relate to Farnsworth's activities particulary in the Mormon Church. Included in the collection are letters from the fourth president of the Mormon Church, Willford Woodruff, patriarchal blessings, letters relating to Mormon polygamy, and a book recording the work done in the Manti Temple of the Mormon Church.

Scope and Contents Handwritten and signed letter by John Daniel Thompson McAllister dated 1901 addressed to a stake president in the Manti region. This letter is a request to admonish the members of that stake to be generous with their donations so the costs of operating the temple could be covered.
