Scope and Contents Collection includes three family histories from the DeWitt and Kempe families, which include typescripts of correspondence and journals, reproductions of photographs, and other biographical information. The histories themselves describe the lives of Elijah Reeves DeWitt, Abel Alexander DeWitt Sr., Abel Alexander DeWitt Jr., Christopher Jensen Kempe, and Ruth Leila Kempe. Scope and Contents Typewritten biography of Ole Van Harris and Annie May Perry Harris, his wife. Ole was born in Parowan, Utah in 1876 and was raised on ranch near the town. Ole attended Brigham Young Academy, taught school in various places in Utah, and eventually settled in Salt Lake City, Utah to work as a businessman. His wife Annie May Perry Harris was born in Provo, Utah in 1876 and married Ole in 1901.

Scope and Contents Materials include twelve lantern slides from Olson & Hafen Kodak Studio. These slides include photographs of people hiking Mount Timpanogos, as well as one photograph each of the Salt Lake Temple, the Manti Temple, the Brigham Young Academy building, and a group of soldiers. Materials dated approximately 1890-1920.

Scope and Contents Two pages of handwritten minutes of the society's first two meetings, held in the Lewis Building at Brigham Young Academy on 30 November and 7 December 1877. Minutes include summary of Karl G. Maeser's comments on the society's functions, and qualifications for membership. The society's first president was Joseph Keeler, a recent Brigham Young Academy graduate. Minutes recorded by Fannie Rogers, secretary. A second folder includes a photocopy and transcript of the minutes.
