Scope and Contents Handwritten, leather-bound compilation of a journal, talks, and family records of Howells' family sewn together in one volume. Includes patriarchal blessings given to Howells' mother, Margaret Evans Francis, in 1853. Most of the items are in Welsh and do not have a date. The patriarchal blessings were translated into English and added to the middle of the volume. Dated approximately 1853.
