Scope and Contents

Typewritten biography of Samuel Gould by his daughter. The date of composition is unknown. Gould was a member of the Mormon Battalion and an early pioneer in Parowan Utah. Also included is a program from the Iron County Centennial Celebration of 1951 and a brief history of the Parowan Ward of the Mormon Church.

Brigham Young University basketball and football historical records

Two volumes about BYU basketball and three volumes about BYU football, containing information about playing facilities, coaches, athletic conferences, individual players, tournaments, won/loss records against different opponents, yearly won/loss records, and individual game scores. The football volumes also include information about homecoming and bowl games.

The Butlers : the ancesters and descendents of William George Butler

Photocopies of various materials, mostly typed. Collection consists of photographs, drawings, genealogical worksheets, maps, and a short history of the Butler family by Craig L. Foster. These items were collected by Mr. Foster from various published and non-published sources. William George Butler emigrated from Ireland to the United States and joined the Mormon Church. He later settled in Marriott, Utah.

Pike talks about the history of the west side of Cache Valley, Utah, including its early settlement. She presents anecdotes and data on several towns including Weston, Clifton, and Oxford in Idaho and Clarkston and Cornish, Utah.
