Contains administrative files, correspondence, reports, awards information, and general information on the General Education and Honors programs. Also contains materials produced or collected by George S. Tate during his work as associate dean of General Education & Honors and dean of Undergraduate Education. Materials dated 1960 to 2012.

Contains records of the David O. McKay School of Education's dean's office, including department and curriculum records, research files, records on committees and conferences, and records regarding the running of the organization, including records on physical facilities, budgets, self-studies, and accreditation and policy. Materials date from 1926 to 2006.

Collection contains records of the department from 1979 to 1986. Included in the records are course notes, class readings, subject files, project files, and a few unidentified slides.

Contains minutes, awards, course documents, and other materials from the Department of Teacher Education. Records includes documentation of department administration, the Cluff lecture, and the curriculum. Materials date from between 2004 and 2007.

Contains a spiral-bound history of the Department of Counseling Psychology and Special Education compiled by Darwin F. Gale including CDs of digital copies of the history. Also included in the collection are taped interviews from different people in the department.

Contains class notes (holograph, 90 pages) from the Normal Department on various aspects of teacher training. Includes teacher training, rhetoric, theology and physiology with diagrams.

Papers of David A. Squires, including poetry he authored, as well as a manuscript titled "Ventures: Teaching Beyond the Obvious." Also contains memorandums and certificates related to David's teaching career, and photographs of his ancestors. Materials dated approximately 1870-2016.
