Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Edward Robinson was born in England in 1839, and his family soon joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He migrated to Nauvoo, Illinois, and came to Utah in 1849. He later settled in American Fork, Utah. He married Sarah E. Harrington in 1862 and died in 1901.

Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of typewritten biographies. John Wood was born in 1804 in England. Rosanna Dishley was born in 1811 also in England. They were probably married in 1838. They joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Nauvoo, Illinois. They came to Utah in 1851 where they settled in American Fork.

Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typed biography. The item was written by Mrs. John H. Wootton, but her name is not given. John Wootton was born in 1842 in England. His parents were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints, and the brought him to Nauvoo, Illinois, in 1843. They later came to Utah in 1849, and they settled in American Fork. John Wootton died in 1922.

ALS's dated Oct. 15, 24, 1845 (plus photocopies) to his wife, Mary Hine Carter, are revised transcripts of diary. Diary entry for November 13 describes a visit to the Nauvoo, Illinois Temple.This is a journal kept by E.V. Carter during his journey from Tallmadge, Ohio, to St. Louis, Missouri. Photocopies of a typewritten autobiography. Cazier was born in Ordham County, Kentucky. His family moved to Illinois in 1841 where he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1845. He later moved to Nauvoo, Illinois, to Council Bluffs, Iowa, and to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1850. He settled at Nephi, Utah, in 1851 and later married polygamously. Cazier also writes about his family life.

Barzillai Frost travel journal

Journal kept by Barzillai Frost during his travels in the West in 1843. Includes an account of his visit to Nauvoo, Ill., and his meeting with Joseph Smith and other prominent Mormons. A photocopy and transcript of the diary are also included in the collection, as well as articles and biographical information on Frost.

Ebeneezer Emory Gore autobiography

Scope and Contents Typewritten carbon copy of an autobiography with pencilled corrections composed in Lawrence, Kansas in 1904. Gore participated in an overland journey to Jacksonville, Oregon in 1852 and presents many insights into frontier and pioneer life. Gore was familiar with the Mormons in Kirtland, Ohio and in Nauvoo, Illinois. John Murdock journal and autobiography

Materials include two copies of the typescript of an autobiography covering, 1792-1867, and journals, 1830-1859. Murdock was a Campbellite who joined the Mormon Church in 1830. He lived with Joseph Smith (1805-1844), the Mormon prophet, in 1833 and participated in "Zion's Camp" in 1834. He lived in Kirtland, Ohio; Nauvoo, Illinois; and Lehi, Utah and was in Missouri during the persecution of Mormons in that state.
