Oscar James Averell letters
Two handwritten letters from Averell while he was serving as a clerk of the Utah Territorial Supreme Court. The letters are orders for six cases of wine from William W. Allen, a merchant in Steuben County, New York, to be sent to Colonel Michael Shaughnessy, U.S. Marshal in Salt Lake City, Utah. Letters were written from Salt Lake City, Utah Territory, and are dated September 7 and 8, 1881.

David O. Calder papers
Handwritten and printed certificates, correspondence, and legal documents. The materials relate to education in Utah, to Zion's Savings Bank and Trust Co., and to ZCMI. Some of the correspondence is between Calder and his son, David G. Calder, and deal with family matters.
Abraham H. Cannon letters
Typewritten letters signed by A H. Cannon. Cannon writes to Levi Alexander Colvin in both letters requesting payments for some business transactions.
John M. Cannon letter
Handwritten letter dated 14 April 1910. The item was written in Utah on "BLue Creek Land & Live Stock Co." stationary by a someone who signes his name as J. Smith. Smith informs Cannon that he has just returned from the ranch and has just sold his stock in the "Company."
William Clark letter
Photocopy of a handwritten and signed letter dated May 28, 1794. Clark requests that whiskey be delivered to the Chickasaw Indians.
William Clarke, Independence, Missouri, letter to Morris L. Hallowell and Co., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1850 May 21
A handwritten letter from William Clarke, in Independence, Missouri, to his creditors at Morris L. Hallowell and Co., in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. William Clarke is informing them of his decision to travel to "the Mormon Settlement at Salt Lake" to sell his stock of goods. He adds that he has formed a partnership with a Mr. Packard and a Mr. James for the purpose. Dated May 21, 1850.
Mark R. Cockrill letter
Handwritten and signed letter written by Cockrill in Nashville, Tennessee on October 10, 1852 and addressed to his nephew, John C. Pulliam in Missouri. Cockrill gives instructions on how an order of 50,000 pounds of pork is to be shipped.
