Isaura Bentley Abegg diaries
Photocopies of handwritten diaries for the years 1952, 1964, and 1966 through 1971. Abegg was a student at Brigham Young University in 1952 and was closely associated with the university in later years. She talks of her daily activities, association with Brigham Young University, and Church responsibilities.
Biography of Mary Elizabeth Coursey Hoover : pioneer, came to Utah in 1849
Typewritten biography. The item was originally presented to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers meeting in 1925. Mary's father joined the Mormon Church and moved his family to Nauvoo, Illinois and later to Utah. Mary married John Witmer Hoover in 1855, had twelve children, and spent most of her adult life in Provo, Utah.
Brigham Young University 2nd Ward scrapbook
Bound scrapbook (42 pages) with newsletters, poems, newspaper clippings, programs, brochures, and miscellaneous items relating to the BYU 2nd Ward Relief Society. Materials document the activities of the ward's women between 1956 and 1962.
Virginia Chipman notes
Handwritten notes in a notebook. The notes are apparently associated with classes taken at the university. Also included are notes relating to the meetings of the "Young Ladies of the Second Year" at the university.
Daughters of Utah Pioneers records

Sarah Fletcher Jones letters
Handwritten letters addressed to Francis W. Kirkham. They were written in Provo, Utah and were often signed with "Your Cincere & Affectionate friend." Jones signed her name both as "Sadie" and as "Sayde." The items are concerned with personal matters and happenings in Provo, Utah.
Elizabeth Truman Partridge papers
Typewritten biography, certificates, newspaper clipping, and a letter. The biography is by an unknown author and tells the story of Partridge's life in Provo, Utah. The other materials relate to her selection as mother of the year.
Zola Peterson autobiography
Typewritten autobiography. Peterson writes about her life in Monticello, Blanding, and Provo, Utah. She tells about her childhood, her experiences at Brigham Young University, and her mission for the Mormon Church in the Southern United States.
Pamela Jill Porter diaries
Handwritten diaries. Porter writes about her spiritual experiences and how she regards the Mormon Church. Some of the diaries were written while Porter attended Brigham Young University and majored in English. She also lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and in Boston, Massachusetts.
