Typewritten copy of Mary's biography of her parents, but the bulk of the account is autobiographical. Mary tells of coming to Utah in 1847 including incidents en route. She tells of the early settlement of Salt Lake City and Provo, Utah including problems with Indians, crickets and grass hoppers, and the difficult living conditions.

Duke, prepared by Ruby Duke Stringham, which tells (mainly through excerpts from his journal) of the Mormon expulsion from Nauvoo, Illinois; residence in Iowa; immigration to Utah; life in Provo, Utah; and participation in the Echo Canyon War. Also includes two unsigned handwritten sketches: One of Jonathan Duke and one of his son, Robert S. Duke.

Biography : Henry Goddard

Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. Goddard was born in 1821 in England, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1850, and migrated to Utah in 1855. He lived in Provo, Utah, and died in 1901.

Photocopy of a handwritten biography of Albert Merrill. Merrill was born on Long Island, New York; joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1841; moved to Nauvoo, Illinois, in 1843; migrated to Utah in 1852; and settled in Provo, Utah. He served on a mission for the Church to the Eastern States from 1869 to 1870 and was made a patriarch of the Church in 1873.
