Andrew Jackson Allen autobiography and diary
Autobiography and poems of George Washington Johnson
Collection includes handwritten autobiography, patriarchal blessings, poems, and letters created by Johnson. Also included is a transcription of those materials by his great-great granddaughter. Materials date 1893 and 2000.
Aaron Bliss letters
Handwritten letters addressed to Samuel Moore, a Mormon living in Iowa and Nauvoo, Illinois. The items were sent from Missouri and from Louisiana. Bliss writes of family and personal matters. He asks about how the Mormons are doing and expresses a desire to visit Moore in Nauvoo.
Book of remembrance of the Quayle family
Photocopy of typewritten genealogical charts, photographs, and chronology of the Quayle family. The document details the history of John Quayle: his life on the Isle of Man, conversion to Mormonism, emigration to New York in 1841, Council Bluffs, Iowa in 1846, and Salt Lake City, Utah in 1847. The history continues through Quayle's death in 1892. Genealogical charts of the family are current through 1985.
H. H. Cole letter
Typescript and photocopy of a handwritten letter. The item is written to Cole's father. Cole tells about the Mormon expulsion from Nauvoo, Illinois and about personal family matters.

Typewritten excerpts from an autobiography. Garner writes about her conversion to Mormonism, her life in Nauvoo, Illinois, her memories of Joseph Smith (1805-1844) and the "mantle" of the prophet falling on Brigham Young (1801-1877), her journey to Utah, and her life in Slaterville, Utah.

Correspondence, diaries, legal documents, newspaper clippings, obituaries, and memorabilia. The materials relate to the lives, finances, and activities of the Hudson family largely in Nauvoo, Illinois, Ohio, and nearby states.
Elias Hutchings autobiography
Handwritten autobiography and photocopies of the item. Hutchings was born in New Hampshire and lived later in Vermont, New York, Ohio, Iowa, and Illinois. He was baptized a member of the Mormon Church in 1830, participated in the "Zion's Camp" march of 1834, served on a mission to New York and Pennsylvania, and personally knew Joseph Smith (1805-1844), first president of the Mormon Church. Hutchings died in 1845 in Nauvoo, Illinois.
