John Orval Ellsworth papers

The materials relate to Ellsworth's occupation as professor and his assignment as a mission president of the Central States Mission of the Mormon Church.

Farnsworth family genealogies

Handwritten genealogies of the Farnsworth family. Also included is an attendance record for school children in Pleasant Grove, Utah, a diary of a trip to Saint George, Utah, in 1879 to visit the Mormon temple there, and a statement by Laura Farnswoth Liston Smith that she joined the "United Order of Zion" on 27 April 1877. It is uncertain if Smith is the author of all of the materials in the collection.

George Halliday papers

Scope and Contents Materials include a handwritten diary that was kept from 1845 to 1854, part of which was written in Pitman shorthand. The diary also includes a brief autobiographical sketch on Halliday from his birth up to 1845. Also includes a family record book for George Halliday's family, which includes a short handwritten autobiography. A volume with a typed version of the short autobiography and handwritten transcriptions of the Pitman shorthand sections of the diary are also included. Dated...

Genealogies, photocopies of handwritten diaries and articles, family histories, and maps bound in one volume. The materials relate to the Christiansen family members who joined the Mormon Church in Denmark and migrated to Utah. The diaries are by Parley Christiansen (1857-1930), Niels Christian Christiansen (1817-1899), and Christian Christensen (1790-1871) and relate to their conversion to Mormonism, their journey to Utah, and their lives there.

The family members lived in Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. The notes relate to Homer's research on Martin Harris (1783-1875). Also included is a diary Homer's father, William Harrison Homer, Sr., kept while he was on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England from 1867 to 1868.

Ann Evans Francis Howells family record book

Handwritten, leather-bound compilation of a journal, talks, and family records of Howells' family sewn together in one volume. Includes patriarchal blessings given to Howells' mother, Margaret Evans Francis, in 1853. Most of the items are in Welsh and do not have a date. The patriarchal blessings were translated into English and added to the middle of the volume. Dated approximately 1853.
