American Conservative Union records
Correspondence, notes, newsletters, memoranda, meeting minutes, charters, bylaws, resolutions, and miscellaneous items. The ACU has been active in raising funds, corresponding with conservative political leaders, supporting projects, helping candidates, providing advice, and addressing issues relating to conservative causes and political activities all over the United States.
Richard Smith Beal papers
Richard S. Beal papers concerning his involvement in the 1980 presidential election and his service as Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs.
Mortimer Browning papers and music manuscripts
Correspondence, manuscripts for publication, newspaper clippings, concert programs, pamphlets, composition materials, mementos, class exercises, and photographs. Also included are correspondence with Browning's wife, Pauline, and his son, Richard, while Browning served overseas during World War II from 1942 to 1945. Also included are other family correspondence.
Frank J. Cannon papers
Microfilmed copies of correspondence, speeches, resolutions, press releases, newspaper articles, certificates, and excerpts from the Congressional Record. Many of the items were created by Cannon's secretary, Caroline Evans. The materials deal largely with the question of free coinage of silver in the United States. The collection is found on six reels of microfilm positively reproduced and on six reels of microfilm negatively reproduced.
Mark W. Cannon papers
Collection on Mark Hofmann
Collection contains articles, clippings, transcripts, biographical materials, and other materials on the Mark Hofmann case. Includes information on Hofmann's forgeries, as well as the murder case. Materials date from between 1978 and 2005.
Leonard Russell Dunkley papers
Letters, articles, maps, reports, and pamphlets from 1948 to 1953 relate to the Salt Lake Aqueduct and the Provo River Project in Utah designed to store water in reservoirs for future use.
JoAnn Hibbert Hamilton papers
Joseph Hawkins papers
Six items relating to Joseph Hawkins' role in the Mormon War in Missouri. Includes original handwritten and signed letters from Missouri Governor Lilburn W. Boggs, Adjutant General B. M. Lisle, and Brigadier General Green White, which contain military orders to Hawkins. Also includes a printed general order (original was removed to print collection) by Lilburn W. Boggs and B. M. Lisle; and, a newspaper article on Joseph Hawkins from a 1924 Missouri newspaper.
Moroni L. and Vivian N. Jensen papers
The Moroni L. and Vivian Jensen collection consists of both personal and professional papers. The papers include legislative papers, education papers, correspondence, newspapers, photographs, articles, reports, magazines, pamphlets, and campaign materials, circa 1950-1980, bulk 1976-1980. This collection also contains a folder with two large portraits of Utah Senator Moroni L. Jensen, circa 1980.
