Cache Valley's west side
Photocopy of a typewritten speech "delivered by Mrs. Marybelle Pike before the Cache Valley Historical Society" 23 March 1955. Pike talks about the history of the west side of Cache Valley, Utah, including its early settlement. She presents anecdotes and data on several towns including Weston, Clifton, and Oxford in Idaho and Clarkston and Cornish, Utah.

Typewritten funeral orations delivered by Haynie. The speeches refer to the lives and activities of many Mormons living in or around Manassa, Colorado. The materials were edited by Donald L. Haynie, Winfred's son.
Edwin Smith Hinckley papers

The biographies are eulogies given by Hinckley's friends and associates.
In memorium : Robert Dewey McKell
Photocopy of a typescript. The item is a transcript of the funeral services for Robert McKell (1894-1935) held in Payson, Utah and recorded by Catherine Moulton. The talks were given by McKell's friends and by local Mormon church leaders. McKell was a school teacher who was active in the American Legion and in the Boy Scouts.
William R. Palmer radio programs
Typewritten transcripts with handwritten corrections of the included cassette sound tapes. Palmer gave weekly addresses at KSUB in Cedar City, Utah. Topics include the history of Iron County, Utah, early Mormons in the area, Indians of the area, and the early history of Utah.
J. M. Smith speech
Handwritten speech intended to commemorate a Fourth of July celebration in the United States. Smith writes about the creation of the United States and its growth as a nation. He also tells of the evils of alcohol consumption. The item was signed "J. M. S." who is believed to have been J. M. Smith.
