The collection contains one personal tax ledger book for Great Salt Lake City during the years 1856-1857, just prior to the Utah War. It contains a record of personal taxes paid, recorded by Ward, and by individuals in the Ward. It includes the records of twenty Wards as well as the Sugar House Ward. The ledger book also includes the names of several early and important members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including Brigham Young.

Handwritten and typewritten cash account ledgers, minutes of meetings, reports, correspondence, and other financial and administrative records document the work and policies of the North Willow Irrigation Company from 1890-1961.

Handwritten entries into books. The materials relate the operation of the library including salaries, rentals, upkeep, fines, and donations.

Handwritten account book of taxes paid by vaious persons of Utah on numerous items including carriages, watches, and pianos. The names of the taxpayers are listed alphabetically.

Includes nine bound record books spanning the years 1851-1864. They record deeds of transfer, land survey certificates, deeds of consecration, and transfer records of enslaved people. Most of the records were kept by Lucius N. Scovil, the county recorder of Utah County, but some were also kept by Dominicus Carter, Isaac Higbee, and Howard Coray. The deeds of consecration recorded in Utah County begin in 1855 and primarily mention land and property rather than cash contributions.
