Typescript of a diary kept by Chappell during his service in the British Mission. He served primarily in the Manchester Conference. Includes a description of his travels from Utah to England. Transcribed by Dorrell Chappell Vickers, son of Louise Chappell Vickers, the oldest child and only daughter of Frederick William Chappell. Dated 1890-1891.

Lyndon W. Cook research collection on Thomas L. Kane

Cook, a student of LDS Church history and an instructor in history at UVSC, worked for several years gathering materials for what he anticipated would be a complete edition of the papers of Thomas L. Kane (1822-1883). Cook abandoned the project in 1985 and gave his research collection to the BYU Library.
