Typescript of an autobiography. Moon was born in Lancashire, England, converted to Mormonism with his parents, came to Nauvoo, Illinois, migrated to Utah in 1848, moved to St. George, Utah, in 1861, and relocated to Farmington, Utah, in 1866.

Andrew Ferguson diaries and autobiography

Scope and Contents Holograph autobiography, diary, and notebook containing speeches, council meeting minutes, and journal additions. Ferguson writes about his ancestors, early life, education, and his conversion to the Mormon Church in 1844. His diaries cover the years 1852-55 and 1879-80 while serving as a missionary in Scotland. Life history of Albert Douglas Dickson

Typescript of an autobiography. Dickson migrated to Utah in 1852. He first settled in American Fork but later moved to Kaysville. He participated in resisting the U.S. Army during the Utah War, mentions the Morrisite War, and moved to Richville, Utah, where he served as bishop of the Richville Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Also included are poems dedicated to Dickson and some anecdotes on his life.

The second and third volumes covering the time from 1854 to 1857 are found with the collection. A typed copy of the first diary covering the years from 1853 to 1854 is also included. John Murdock autobiography and diary

Scope and Contents

Typescripts of a diary and an abridgement of diaries for the years from 1830 to 1859 and 1832. Murdock joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1830 and lived in Kirtland, Ohio; Missouri; Nauvoo, Illinois; and Salt Lake City, Utah. He had numerous assignments for the Church and migrated to Utah in 1847. He participated in Zion's Camp in 1834 and went on a mission to Australia from 1852 to 1853.
