Donald Q. Cannon research materials
Photocopies and microfilmed copies of letters, pamphlets, newspaper articles, sections of books, maps, biographies, histories, and miscellaneous items. The materials relate to a large range of topics in the early history of the Mormon Church, to its early leaders and presidents, and to the genealogies of early prominent members of that faith. The materials were acquired in various research institutions in Massachusetts.

Typewritten fact sheet published by the Information Service of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church) revised as of 1 July 1962. The item describes the history, organization, and basic doctrines of the Mormon Church.
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Southern States Mission records
Photocopies of handwritten church records including minutes of meetings and newspaper clippings. Most of the items relate to the activies of the Mormon Church in Florida including the creation of the Florida Stake. The district clerk who recorded the minutes was Joseph S. Copeland.
The Church Under Brigham Young, 1844-1847
Handwritten and signed history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while Brigham Young served as its president. Margarett Young writes about Brigham Young's leadership and his impact on the faith. The date of the composition of the item is uncertain.
Department of History student papers
Contains papers submitted to various history professors for History 400 and other upper-division history classes. Among the topics covered are Native Americans, nineteenth-century gold mining in the American West, Mormons, Spanish explorers and missionaries; the American Southwest, Mexico, and African Americans.
Eldredge family history
Typescript history of the Eldredge family in Massachusetts and Utah written by several family members. The history describes the "miracle of the seagulls" and gives an account of "Johnston's Army" in Utah.
The establishment of the L.D.S. Church schools
Typewritten and signed history on one page of the founding of Mormon Church schools composed in 1913. Dwyer writes of a meeting in his bookstore in 1886 in which the idea of church schools was discussed. Also included is a reproduction of a pen-and-ink drawing of the meeting published in 1910.
Robert Fears collection on Mormon history in Kentucky
Contains materials relating to the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kentucky since the beginning of the 20th century. Includes copies of journal entries of many of the early church members in Kentucky (as well as other historical documents), a compiled "History of Mormonism in Christian County, Kentucky," and records of the Mission Sunday School of the Hopkinsville Branch located in Christian County. Materials dated 2012-2014.
William M. Foxley papers
Typewritten and handwritten notes, essays, compositions, histories, biographies, and music. The materials relate to Foxley's research in choral music, its history and composition, primarily in Mormon meetings.
