Angus M. Cannon diaries and letters
Collection includes three handwritten diaries dated 1885 to 1886 two letters from 1891. In his diaries, Cannon writes about his imprisonment at the Utah State Penitentiary for polygamy and his subseqent experiences as a stake president for the Mormon Church in Salt Lake City, Utah. His letters are addressed to his sons George and John, and to Levi Colvin of Payson, Utah. Photocopies and typescripts of the diaries are also included.

Handwritten letters dated 1888 and 1894. One of the letters is addressed to John M. Cannon. Angus refers a woman to John saying she desired a divorce. In the other item Angus thanks a friend for his kind words and support in the Mormon Church.

Handwritten and signed letter addressed to John M. Cannon. The item deals with mines and money matters in Utah.
Frank J. Cannon letter
Typewritten and signed letter written in Washington D.C., addressed to John M. Cannon (1856-1917), and dated 27 Dec. 1901. Frank expresses gratitude for John's efforts. Frank states that an unspecified "deal" is likely to achieve success because "the principal parties have agreed to take the matter up immediately after the re-convening of Congress."

Typewritten and signed letters. Three of the items are addressed to Frank's cousin, John M. Cannon, and one is addressed to D. B. Richards. Frank Cannon writes of business activities and transactions.
John M. Cannon letter
Handwritten letter dated 14 April 1910. The item was written in Utah on "BLue Creek Land & Live Stock Co." stationary by a someone who signes his name as J. Smith. Smith informs Cannon that he has just returned from the ranch and has just sold his stock in the "Company."

Handwritten and signed letters and receipts. All of the items are from merchantile instutions in various towns and cities in Utah and are addressed to John M. Cannon. The items relate to various financial matters and transactions.
John M. Cannon letters
Handwritten and typed letters received by John M. Cannon. The items are from various business associates and family members. Two of the letters are from "Aunt Johanna." The aunt writes about funeral expenses for her parents and about some past misunderstandings relating to finances.
Charles D. Fox letters
Handwritten and signed letters dated 20 Feb. and 22 April 1902 and addressed to John M. Cannon. Fox writes that he just arrived in Raymond, Alberta. He writes about crops and timber. He also requests that cattle be soon sent to Raymond as soon as possible.
