Handwritten and signed letter, addressed to W.W. Freeman of Charleston, Arkansas, dated 15 May 1898, and composed in St. Louis, Missouri. James writes about his plans to sell a copyrighted photograph and expresses the desire to purchase a farm with the proceeds. Also included is a newspaper clipping of a photograph of Frank James and Kit Dalton dated 4 July 1910.
