Orson Hyde letter to Ann Eliza Hyde
Scope and Contents
Handwritten and signed letter, dated August 31, 1867, addressed to "Dear Ann Eliza," and composed in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hyde writes to his wife upon hearing of the death of their daughter, Maria Louisa. The item is thirty words long. "I shall not hear that Sweet voice lisping Pa any more." Hyde also gives instructions for the buial of Maria Louisa.
