Thomas P. Shrock papers
Scope and Contents
Handwritten, printed, and signed documents concerning the travels of Thomas P. Shrock. The materials include two handwritten maps of eastern Mexico in 1850 made while Shrock was returning from the gold fields in California; a guarantee of safe conduct through Colorado in 1861 signed by William Gilpin, governor of Colorado; and a loyalty oath to the United States in 1861 signed by C. R. Jennison, Kansas Cavalry.
