Sadie Staker Olsen diary
Scope and Contents
Photocopies of a holograph diary and brief autobiography. This document was produced before Sadie was married and is entitled "Autobiography of Sadie Staker." During the time she wrote her diary, Sadie's family was living in Annabella, Utah. She attended school, started teaching school in Blue Valley, Utah, travelled widely in the Richfield, Utah area, attended meetings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and dated numerous men.
She complained of headaches and other health problems. Most of the entries are very short; usually each is a simple phrase or one word.
