Winslow Farr autograph book
Scope and Contents
This manuscript is a photocopy of Farr's autograph book. The book was apparently circulated among the inmates at the Utah Penitentiary who had been incarcerated for polygamy. Many of these individuals were important Mormon Church leaders on the local level, but one entry was by George Q. Cannon, a high official in the church. The signatures follow brief notes written to Farr. They tend to be flattering to Farr personally, expressing friendship to him, and commending him for his support of the Mormon church. There are approximately eighty entries in the book.
