Biographical History

Louis Rice Chaffin was born in Princeton, Massachusettes, on December 3, 1806. He married Sarah Maria Cossett on June 2, 1815. Chaffin worked as a photographer in Salt Lake City, Utah during 1852. He died in Cedar City on March 5, 1891.
