C. S. Betts letters to W.L. Van Alstyne
Scope and Contents
Three ALS's in which Betts describes his invention of a gold washer of concentrator of fine gold. Includes a pencil drawing. He also describes his efforts to patent his invention and its use on the Snake River in Idaho. Betts sought Van Alstyne's support for and use of his invention.
