Earl Nay interview
Scope and Contents
Transcript of an interview conducted by Tim Turner on 22 July 1985 for the Ray Hillam project. Hillam later used this interview as part of his research for a book. Nay was born in Bowen, Utah, and joined the United States Army in 1962. He was trained as a paratrooper, he went to the Dominican Republic in 1965 where he stayed for eight months, and he was sent to Vietnam in 1968. He said he never killed anyone. He thought the Vietnam War was a "waste" and that it was a "policital" war. He added that his experiences in Vietnam did not change him much.
