Scope and Contents
Written by an unidentified missionary, probably Methodist or other Protestant who was preaching in Nephi, Utah. The item discusses the difficulties of missionary work among the Mormons. The letter is incomplete.
According to "They Left a Record: A Comprehensive History of Nephi, Utah, 1851-1978," by Kenneth N. Worthington, Sadie H. Greenhalgh, and Fred J. Chapman, the only religions in Nephi in 1884 aside from members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints were Methodists and other Protestants.
