Scope and Contents

Recounts his significant life experiences, including early life in Boise and Gooding, Idaho, and Ogden, Utah; marriage to Janet Greaves, 1944; service in the U.S. Navy, 1943-1945, during World War II; career on faculty of Brigham Young University in Education Department, 1948-1988; travels throughout the world; family life; and service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as bishop, member of Child Correlation Committee, missionary, and temple sealer. Includes details of his experiences abroad as an educator in Iran, 1951-1954; and Thailand, 1961-1963 and 1973-1974. Also contains accounts of missions with his wife in Spain Bilboa Mission and at Swiss Temple, 1988-1990; and again at Swiss Temple, 1992-1994. The history begins with information on Max and Janet's ancestors, and includes brief information on Janet's early life in Ogden, Utah. Includes several photographic images.
