W.W. Gavitt Company letters received
Scope and Contents
Six handwritten letters received and two order forms. The letters were sent by J. H. Taylor of Orangeville, Utah; T. M. Smith of Cedar Valley, Utah; Henry Bluemel of Randolph, Utah; and Thaddeus May of Springville, Utah. The medicines sold included "Lightning Pain Extractor" and "Gavitt's Pile Driver." Apparently sales were slow. "The reason that I could not do any more," writes Mr. Smith of Cedar Valley, "... is that they have got this Egyptian Regulater Tea there and they seem to think that is all that is wanted."
