Jesse Lane letter
Scope and Contents
Handwritten and signed letter dated 20 June 1835 and addressed to William Jessup. The item was written in Lanesboro, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Lane requests that William Jessup, a lawyer and a major figure in the county, "to direct the Sheriff to come out to our place on the Execution against Williams as soon as you receive this."
