Asahel Wood letters
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letters dated 1836 and 1841. Two items were signed by Asahel Wood and London Kellogg and were written in Castile, New York. Wood and Kellogg write to O. W. Norton about a religious matter relating to what was apparently a forged letter. Norton writes two notes on at the end of the letters requesting further information.
