Scope and Contents
Photocopies of handwritten and signed letters. Thomas B. McAffee, articles editor of the Law Review for University of Utah College of Law, writes a letter requesting information on the Mormon Church's position on capital punishment. His inquiry was answered by Bruce R. McConkie who stated that the law of "Blood Atonement" was never practiced by the Mormon Church, and the church supports the local secular laws on the matter of capital punishment.
