Biographical Note
Ira Wainwright Bennion was born in Taylorsville, Utah on January 5, 1864, to John Bennion and Esther Wainwright. He married Ellen Jeanette Gardner in Logan, Utah on July 21, 1886. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England in 1894. Ira died at the age of 65 on January 27, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
