Biographical / Historical
Arthur H. Taylor was born on February 3, 1880, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thomas Edward Taylor and Emma Louise Harris. He was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in March 1888. Later in his life, he was able to serve two mssions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to both Colorado and to the Eastern States. Arthur married Lena Hetta Major on June 8, 1905. He built several businesses in plumbing, insulation, brick, and sand and gravel. Arthur died on December 27, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
