Scope and Contents note
Photocopies of memorandums, letters, and an article written by Kay on his research about the pelicans at the Great Salt Lake. Materials dated from between 1936 and 1950. Also includes an atlas of plants from the campus of Brigham Young University.

Biographical History
Lee Kay (1897-1980) was a naturalist and outdoorsman in Utah.
Lee Kay worked for the Utah Fish and Game Dept. in public relations and education. He started the Utah Hunter Safety Program in 1957. He was also active in scouting.
