Scope and Contents
A collection of photocopied records of Dorothy Morgan's family history. Includes photocopies of family history records and pedigree charts, life stories (both biographies and autobiographies), transcripts of patriarchal and other blessings, photographs, article excerpts, and journal entries. Many of the materials relate to the Draper family. Materials dated approximately 1882 to 1976.

Biographical / Historical
Dorothy Morgan was born on January 10, 1921, in Pleasant Grove, Utah, to Carson Owen Draper and Ann Artell Stratton. She had eight siblings and lived in Utah for most of her life. In 1944, she married Yale Royal Morgan in Kansas, right before Yale was sent off to serve in WWII. They were sealed in the Latter-day Saint Los Angeles Temple in 1958. Morgan and her husband adopted five children. Yale Morgan died in 1976. Dorothy loved to do genealogy in her spare time and held many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Dorothy died on October 20, 2010, in Provo, Utah.
