Scope and Contents
Printed and signed proclamation in Spanish. The item announces that the Brigadier Don Juan Garcia, commander of the "navio Santiago" will be leaving for Spain with the royal revenues from the port in Vera Cruz, Mexico. The document also gives logistical information to merchants who need to register goods to be shipped. On the back of this item there is a handwritten endorsement by the authorities at Puebla, Mexico who state that the proclamation has been obeyed by them.
