Typewritten autobiography and copies of stories and poems, some of which have been published in various magazines throughout the United States. Barthel discusses her education, marriage, and family. She describes events leading to her conversion to the Mormon Church in Iowa, and explains how principles of that church and her love of writing have fulfilled many aspects in her life.
