Fremont Irrigation Company article of agreement
Scope and Contents note
Photocopy of an agreement which transfers the water rights of the outlet of Fish Lake, Utah, from the Indians who owned it "by decent" to the Fremont "Eragation" Company. The agreement was made March 1, 1889 in Loa, Utah, in exchange for "9 fine horses, 500 lbs. of flour, 1 good beef stear [sic], 1 suit of clothes."
