Collection includes photographs of early Hollywood actors and personalities, as well as of the Milner family. Also includes filmstrips of caricatures from the film Land of the Pharos.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain any necessary copyright clearances. Permission to publish material from Victor Milner collection of photographs must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services and/or the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.

Biographical / Historical

Victor Milner (1893-1972) was a movie cinematographer. He won an Oscar for photography in 1934 for the film Cleopatra, and again for cinematography for How Green is My Valley. He was one of Cecil B. DeMille's favorite directors of photography.
