Contains copy photographs and corresponding negatives of a photograph album. The album has photographs from World War I, from Camp Stuart in Virginia to the battlefields. There are some portraits that appear to predate the war. Dated approximately 1890-1920.

Biographical / Historical

Daniel Ellsworth Carlquist was born July 25, 1896, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Carl Arvid Carlquist and Hulda Augusta Natalia Ostergren. Daniel married Lila McKinney on January 5, 1920, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Daniel served in the United States Air Force during WWI in a balloon squadron. Daniel died on December 12, 1988, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 92.
