Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.

Biographical / Historical

Carl Jackson (1923-1981) was a librarian, author, and sailor. He was also known for sailing solo across the Atlantic in his yacht, the Carla Mia. He was lost at sea during a similar sailing attempt in 1981.
