Early Utah photographs
Scope and Contents
Early Utah photographs, 1880s-1920s collection contains about 120 photographs and 120 glass plate negatives from the Shipler and Anderson photographic studio. Most are portraits of families and individuals. There are prints of the negatives, they are not original photographs.

Open to public access. Kept in cold storage; access requires 24 hours advance notice. Glass plates negatives not accessible for patron use.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain any necessary copyright clearances. Permission to publish material from Early Utah photographs must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services and/or the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.
