Collection includes 434 photographs, 27 glass negatives, 255 other negatives, 188 postcards, two oil paintings, and an album with images of the Young family.

Biographical / Historical
The Young family, led by John Young, Jr. (1791-1870), travelled to Utah in 1847 as part of the Mormon migration, and settled in Salt Lake City. His son, John M. Young (1856-1922) also lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he worked as an attorney and politician.
