Scope and Contents

Collection includes twenty-eight photographs of trains and railroads from the 1920s to the 1970s. Some photographs include images of early Utah towns. Many of the early photographs were taken by George L. Beam, while the later items were taken by James L. Ozment.

George L. Beam (1868-1935) was the official photographer of the Denver and Rio Grande Railway from 1898 to 1934.

James L. Ozment (1935-2009 ) worked as a photographer for Rocky Mountain Photographic Co. in Orem, Utah.
