N. Ross and Susannah Smith Beatie postcards
Scope and Contents
Collection includes 492 postcards collected by Beatie and Smith between the 1900s and the 1930s. Many of the postcards contain the correspondence between Beatie and Smith during his mission to the eastern United States. The postcards include images of locations throughout the United States, as well as England, Canada, Ireland, and Australia. Most are commercially produced, although some are personal photographs.

Susannah Smith Beatie (1890-1984) was a singer in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the wife of N. Ross Beatie, singing with him in the Tabernacle Choir between 1936 and 1957.

N. Ross Beatie (1886-1958) was a singer in Salt Lake City, Utah. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the East, and later sang with the Tabernacle Choir.
